When and Where we meet
We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 12-1 p.m. at Eggs Up; however, they will be undergoing a renovation for the month of October. Our next meeting will be at Applewood House of Pancakes, Oct 15th12-1. Come join us to learn what we are doing for the kids!
Other Ways to Volunteer
If you’re not sure about joining, and you want to do some volunteer work or just check us out – there are several things we do on a recurring basis, or specific projects we could use an extra set of hands for.
The 1st Thursday of every month (9 a.m.) we spend an hour reading to the elementary school children at Waccamaw Elementary
Sewing pillows for our Book Pillow project (this can be anything from cutting material, ironing, insert the pillow form, or sewing)
Collect stuffed animals year round for the sheriff’s department
Setup and take down flags for Field of Honor display – November and December
Sell tickets for annual Pancake Supper and oversee silent Auction – May
